Playfully alive

Workshop
Etage Leipzig - Lützner Str. 29, Leipzig, Germany - Show map
From 18/11/2017 to 19/11/2017

Playfully alive – a 2days workshop with a lot of invitations to explore different aspects of ourselves and different roles through movement – in Contact Improvisation, Bodystorytelling and Yoga.

What roles are familar to us? Which are appealing but seemingly far away or to childish, to funny, to serious, to … to try them „normally“? How does an empowering role move like?

This weekend will offer the room to taste different qualities of life through movement as a main language. We will also share and reflect on what we experienced in English & German.

Let‘s meet and move together through the pathway of different roles.
Let them dance, do sun salutations, meditate and PLAY.

You want to join? Please tell us:
- what motivates you to join this workshop? Which wishes and expectations do you have?
- do you have experience in contact improvisation? Other dances? Yoga?
- Is there somthing about yourself you want to share with us before the workshop?

Facilitators:
Nayeli and Davide live in Slovenia, where they run the Organisation called MOAVE, that is
focused on bringing more awareness on our authentic expression and personal growth through

They met Helene during a workshop in Croatia.

Nayeli - Špela Peterlin

As a passionate movement researcher and contact improvisation dancer, she is exploring and reflecting apon the relation between dance and life. She is mainly working on the field of personal development, using different movement techniques (such as acro yoga, dance, counterbalance exercises, soft- skills and non formal education approach – kinesthetic learning, bodywork etc.) and leading workshops and training to empower and support people in self-expression and
exploration. Her main focus of work is on awareness (of the Body, Mind and Emotions), mechanisms of Self-reflection and bodywork. In the workshops, she combines psychological knowledge, concepts and theories with self- expressive movement methods.

He is exploring Contact Improvisation since 2010. His study is started in Milan and continues in Europe with many teachers. Roberto Lun, Nita Little, Martin Keogh, Angela Dony, Nancy Stark Smith are his main influences. He sees CI as a way to re-awake and enjoys fully our sensitivity and playfulness, works on trust, explores curiosity about movement principles out of daily movement patterns.
In Milan he is co-founder of Collettivo Daimon, a CI collective that organizes once a month the Sunday Contact Jams, and in Italy he is the webmaster of the Contact Improvisation Italian website: http://www.contactimprov.it/

Helene Könau / Yogalabor Leipzig
- studied cultural studies and lives as a Yoga teacher and physiotherapist in Leipzig. A 2 years yoga therapy training with the focus of spiral dynamic movements inspires her teachings, as well as the present wishes and needs of the participants. Form 2017 on she takes
classes in „transformative bodypsychotherapy“ and thus methods from biodynamics are influencing her classes.
