In many situations during our everyday life happens that our mind takes flight, we lose touch with our body, and pretty soon we’re engrossed in obsessive thoughts about something that just happened or fretting about the future. And that makes us anxious.
This create a feeling of disconnection from our experience of the present moment.

Not being connected in a sensitive way with your body means being a disconnected spirit that floats through life without any sense of belonging. Giving a feeling of separation and loneliness to a greater or lesser degree.

If we look our attention like in a music mixer, when we are unconsciously more focused on our thoughts, regarding past or future, we are increasing the volume of the thoughts signal, and this will cover the feeling signals that come from the other senses.
This inhibits our inner perception, the ability to listen and to be constantly aware of our body's inner states: feelings, emotions, muscle tone etc.

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
Means being in contact physically and emotionally with reality, with ourselves, and the environment around us.
During the practice, we can observe all our body sensations, emotions, and thoughts with a very curious and nonjudgmental mind. Accepting our observations as they come.
Through various sets of exercises and the use of imaginary, we will work on releasing the excess of muscular tensions bringing our full attention to the present experience on a moment-to-moment basis.
Then we will share in the closing circle some outcomes from our personal experiences.
