3-dňový tanečný workshop pre každého, kto chce preskúmať svoje telo a myseľ rôznymi formami pohybu.

KONTEXT
Aby nás pri tanci vnímali naši partneri, je v prvom rade dôležité počúvať svoje vlastné telo a pocity. Správna rovnováha medzi vnímaním vnútorného sveta a vonkajšieho okolia nám zabepzečí plnohodnotný zážiť a pocit bezpečia s našimi tanečnými partnermi.

BACKGROUND:
During the dance, one of the most important aspects to ensure the listening of our partners, is first listening of your body, feelings and emotions.
A good balance between listening to the inner world and the perception of the surroundings allows us to live fully and to guarantee security in the dance with our partners.
The sense of sight has always been the favourite one among the five senses. We will play on closing this channel to discover and taste more deeply the nuances of what is perceived by the other sensor channels.
We'll discover the beauty and richness of the inspirations that can be get from this practice, then we come back to see and experiment what has changed.

Methods:
During the workshop we will taste 3 approaches to dance: Authentic movement, Contact improvisation and Body story-telling. We will have time to share our feelings, opinions and dance in flow with each other. Facilitators will adjust the content of the workshop to the needs and experiences of participants, so please fill in the application form mindfully.

Authentic movement is a movement practice that allows individuals to explore the relationship between different dimensions of their experience through body expression. It invites to dive into the inner world through natural movement following the body-felt sensations, emotions, memories, impulses and imagines. It offers the opportunity to develop a deep and self-sensing awareness. It is a process of discovery, transformation, becoming-sensation of moving and being moved.

Contact improvisation is a partner dance form based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, shared weight, and most quintessentially - following a shared point of contact. This dance practice explores the skills of falling, rolling, counterbalance, lifting using minimal effort, how to make ourselves light when being lifted, centering and breathing techniques, and responsiveness to our partners and surroundings.

Body Storytelling is an approach that connects Body, Mind and Emotions to explore, self-reflect and connect to our inner Stories. Stories/beliefs we carry are somehow affecting our life. If we become aware how is that happening, we regain more choice in our behavior. The way we are exploring this stories is through movement. With exercises that support awareness on our body, breathing and movement, we re-connect and therefore allow expression to come out of us in any form that feels for us good and safe.

PROFILES OF FACILITATORS

Nayeli Špela Peterlin
Psychologist, non-formal education trainer, Founder of Organisation MOAVE, which supports authenticity, self-expression, and personal development through movement. (http://www.moave.si/).
As a trainer and facilitator, my main focus is leading workshops and training where I can empower and support people for self-expression and bring more awareness into our bodies and behavior. My work is a combination of ritual, emotional work with encouraging self-expression inside movement practices. I try to bring a holistic approach where Physical, Emotional, and Mental bodies are included in the process.
Years of work as a group facilitator and athlete, I am now bringing qualities of this work also in movement workshops that are connected with theoretical principles of psychology.

Gohar Ghandilyan
Non-formal education trainer and facilitator working with the topics of arts, peace and conflict transformation, holistic education, interculturality, human rights, civil courage, that integrates movement, self-development, and self-awareness into them.
I am passionate about working with diverse groups, discovering myself and others through movement, touch, contact, sense, and stories-feeling and diving into bodies, following intuition, and celebrating the inner knowing and yet unknown.

Davide Casiraghi
Contact improvisation teacher, yoga teacher, and web-designer
After a Bachelor’s degree in information technology and some years spent working behind a desk, in January 2010 I was looking for training in the physical theatre when I chanced upon a Contact Improvisation workshop held by Marco Zontini and I fell in love with this dance, which has allowed me to discover the relationships and harmony of my body.
From then I have been studying with many teachers in Italy and Europe and got more and more passionate about movement and the search for bodily self-awareness.
