Are you curious about trying Contact Improvisation ?
Do you want to lean some skills to play with in the jams?

If yes this workshop is for you. All level of experience are welcome.

PROGRAM

We will begin every session by opening our senses through body and breath work to increase our awareness of weight and the transfer of weight. And we will build up a vocabulary trough with we will dive into a fluid dialog made by mutual listening, suspensions, spiraling, surrenders and supports.

Come with loose trousers open for playful excersises to wake up your sensitivity, body awareness, agility, and sense of readiness. And probably you will get a chance to experience yourself as having/being a moving, sensing, feeling and expressing body in a fresh and new way and find satisfying as well as interesting dances.

In martial arts they use to say: "Energy flows where your attention goes”, to be able to embody the principles of the form is suggested a constant participation to the classes and to the jams.

After the second class there there is Sunday Contact Jam. The best place where to practice end enjoying everything you have learned during the workshop.

Saturday 13th of October: 2-5.30pm, 3 hours class, introduction to CI
Sunday 14th of October 2-5.30pm, 3 hours class.
Sunday 14th of October 6.30pm - 9.30pm SUNDAY CONTACT JAM

About Davide

Davide Casiraghi is a dancer, Contact Improvisation teacher and Yoga Alliance certified teacher based in Slovenia. He is exploring Contact Improvisation since 2010. His study is started in Milan and continue in Europe with the many teachers. Roberto Lun, Nita Little, Martin Keogh, Angela Dony, Nancy Stark Smith are his main influences.
He see CI as a way to re-awake and enjoy fully our sensitivity and playfulness, working on trust, explore curiosity about movement principles out of daily movement patterns.
In Milan he is co-founder of Collettivo Daimon, a CI collective that organize once a month the Sunday Contact Jams, and in Italy he is the webmaster of the Contact Improvisation Italian website: www.contactimprov.it , in Slovenia he is co-creator with Nayeli Spela Peterlin of Moave - www.moave.si
