Four days to celebrate the new year by dancing, researching, experimenting creating a magical and welcoming atmosphere together.
The event is co-created so we ask to all the participants to help with 1 or 2 shifts in the preparation of meals, cleaning etc.

The places are limited: max 16 participants.
Priority will be given to the one that attend the whole event.

For those who already have some experience with Contact Improvisation. To be able to give and receive weight, to relate with the ground and gravity, and listen the point of contact during the dynamic are some of the parameters to (auto) evaluate the self experience in this dance.

PROGRAM

This retreat it's a time-space that offers us opportunity to explore and expand our understanding of contact improvisation, deepen the technique and follow our curiosity.
People bring their own movement competences, set intentions, experiment and learn through common sharing.

Even for classes and labs, they are self-managed, if you are a teacher you can write us your proposals at the time of your registration.

WHEN

We start Saturday 28th of December at 4 pm and finish Tuesday 1st of January at 4pm.

LOCATION

Location of the event is a naturally build place called "Theater in the Woods". Dance space will we in the clay house that is nicely warm.
By participating in this kind of event, you are also supporting the community that is creating this place and building the environment.

* The dance space, living room and kitchen are warm and cozy.
Toilet and shower are outside, so in wintertime in a cold environment. The water of the shower is hot. But just be aware that we are not in a 5 stars hotel, so you need to adapt a bit.

The place is in the nature, close to Rovigno and 15 min from the sea by car.

FOOD

The breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the timetable will be provided by the organization team.
The food will be vegetarian.
Write us if you have any kind of allergy or intolerance.

SLEEP

We sleep in the dance space.
Bring your own sleeping bag and mattress.
